The Ethiopian Community Development Council held an event at St. Stephen's Church in Washington DC to celebrate and support refugees.
Here are a handful of my favorite pictures.
Thanks to Yariana Rodriguez, Nezia Kubwayao, Sarah Zullo, Ezana Teferra, Allene Wright, and all the other good folks at ECDC for the fine and much-needed work they do.

Women's March 2018 | Washington DC
A march by tens of thousands of women and their allies was held on January 20, 2018, at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC to advocate for equality, justice, fair treatment for immigrants, women, the LGBT community, African-American, Latina, native peoples, and other ethnic and religious minority groups, environmental protection, and especially to protect voting rights for all; in protest against the repressive, bigoted, anti-democratic policies of the current administration.
Sister women's marches were held across the nation and internationally. Millions of people participated. #resist #womensmarch
These photographs are a glimpse at the energy and people who participated.
