Pastor Robert Truesdale

I met the good pastor Truesdale at his truly modest home and independent church in NE Washington DC. He is a humble, kind person, doing good and generous works for his community - with no salary, and only his prayers and hope in the Creator to guide and sustain him and his mission of charity and unity.

"Prayer will fix it."

Operation Understanding DC Class XVI -training

I always appreciate and am energized by the work and wonderful spirit of OUDC's program; especially by the noble ideals and personalities of the young people who take part in actively transforming their lives and the world at large.

Community Day/USG

A few images from a recent pleasant assignment at the Universities at Shady Grove.

The Baltimore Ravens cheerleaders were at the event. Something about cheerleaders makes ordinary folks, both male and female, lose all normal sense of proportion.

Interesting.

Advocates For Youth 2010

Portraits from Advocates for Youth's Urban Retreat, in DC.

A lively bunch... always interesting, and doing much-needed grassroots educational work.

Personal Albums: April Fool & Student Body

Two collections of my work, April Fool and Student Body will be shown in the Bodzin Gallery of the JCC of Northern Virginia. The exhibition runs from November 2, 2010 through January 4, 2011.

I have been sending April Fools collages to friends and family annually since 1974. The student Body work is a collection of enlarged SX-70 polaroid images. It is the first public showing of both these bodies of work.

The JCCNV is located at 8900 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax VA 22032. For more info call 703-323-0880, or visit:
