These portraits of Kara House in Washington, DC, were for Enterprise Community Partners, which funds and advocates for affordable housing and community development.
All the residents are immigrants from Togo. Really nice folks. Good cheer and good food after the shoot.
Eve Hennessa is the real deal. Her spiritually-based paintings and works on paper are done with seriousness, humor, verve, and grace-direct from her heart and life. Eve would likely say "from God."
