I had the pleasure of photographing the annual birthday party for the Bard of Avon at the Folger Shakespeare Library in DC. This was the first such celebration since the Folger's renovation and COVID-19.
Thanks to Garland Scott and the merry crew at the Folger for the opportunity to document the festivities.

EDCJCC- D25 volunteers 2024
The Edlovitch DCJCC (the Washington DC Jewish Community Center) organized its annual D25 volunteer day to help those in need on Christmas. I documented volunteers at Central Union Mission, DC Central Kitchen, Christ House, Friendship House-La Casa, Loaves and Fishes, Sasha Bruce Network's Passages Housing, and at the JCC itself.
This is my 30th year covering this citywide mission of charity, of tzedakah.
Thank you to the hard-working Sonya Weisburd and Mira Smith of the EDCJCC volunteer/social action program, to the many hundreds of volunteers, to the staff members of these caring social service agencies, and especially to my wonderful partner Ruth Stromberg, who once again got up before dawn and ably provided caption material.

True Ground assignment | Snowden’s Ridge fall festival
I recently documented a fall festival at True Ground's (formerly APAH) Snowden’s Ridge fall festival in the White Oak area of Maryland.
Thanks to Tomas Kurtz of True Ground for the assignment, and to the happy staff and residents of the community.
