First Thanksgiving for Refugees | ECDC

The Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC) held its annual First Thanksgiving for Refugees in Silver Spring, Maryland this year. Several hundred recent refugees, primarily from Afghanistan and Ukraine, with some from South Sudan and elsewhere, were served generously from a wide range of cuisines by a group of volunteers. There was also music, theater, and dance by Afghani and Ukrainian performers.

It's a beautiful welcome to our nation. Thanks to Dr. Teferra and the staff of ECDC for their caring work.
