Respite. A quiet day. Koan tree, two walks. beauty in the skies and a flower in the garden

Walking around my Glencarlyn neighborhood after a rainstorm, and another walk at dusk around Bright Pond.

Grace.

Needed.

Boat trip on the Potomac

My friend Scott Price recently invited me to go along on a boat trip on the Potomac River with his wife Pam. Our wonderful hosts were Nick Waring and his partner Nan Harmon (thank you!).

A totally lovely occasion.

Themes from my summer place (walks 2022)

Every morning and most evenings I take a walk.

These pictures, taken during June, July, and August, are mostly from around and near Bright Pond in Reston, VA.

I don't know who has created the Fairy Forest, but I love its gentle and amusing magics.
