Submarine removal

My brother Dean gave me notice that a cleaning crew was headed to my home this morning to effect the annual removal of unwanted submarines from my ceilings. I greatly appreciated his warning. Thankfully they arrived in a timely and professional manner, and proceeded to rid my dwelling of this yearly invasive scourge. For historic purposes, I took a photograph of the valiant crew at work in my library. 

With some pleasure, I can now report that my ceilings are once again 100% submarine-free.

"Thou Shalt Not Make Smirky Faces"

I believe the 11th Commandment was to be "Thou shalt not make smirky faces," but it wouldn't fit on the two tablets of the Decalogue. 

Even the Almighty has to contend with graphic design realities when faced with a deadline.

(This is related to an arcane and amusing interchange I had with my friend Claire Feinson regarding counting all the people, and all the mold spores also, during Fabrangen's Rosh Hashanah services).
