I just created an new artist's book "Fourteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird," which consists of three quietly elegiac black-and-white cantos of images, inspired by and as a legacy to, photographer and engineer Carl Dahlke.
The title is an extrapolation and further exploration of seeing, suggested by Wallace Steven's poem "Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird."
