These sports images were made for the Arlington (VA) Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. A bit off my beaten track, but interesting to make. Humor, an array of girls in training, and the piecing eyes of a hungry young fighter.
I had never photographed owls before in my life until last month... and now, two in a row, up close and personal. This one is a local barred owl, with a permanently damaged wing.
