This photograph was an outtake from a recent assignment for a local political candidate.
I find it interesting.

President G.H.W. Bush - his last day in office.
A photograph I made of G.H.W. Bush with his wife Barbara, at the White House on
his last day in office. They were coming out to say goodbye and meet the
people gathering for President Clinton's inauguration that same day.

Boys on the rock/ print for collector
A photograph I made at a seminal gay rights demonstration in Washington, DC in 1992 was used some years ago as a book cover (for the well-reviewed Boys on the Rock).
Recently a collector in England contacted me, and I am sending him a large beautiful tinted monochrome print made and adapted from the original color transparency.

My work for the exhibition "Relations," at Hebrew Union College
I just learned I have two photographs that will be in the upcoming
exhibition "Relations," at Hebrew Union College in New York.
The first photo is of Irene and Azriel Awret, artists and Holocaust survivors, that I made for Moment magazine (thank you Nadine Epstein for the assignment). The other photo, Grandma's Kiss, was originally made on commission for a non-profit to illustrate cross-generational bonding in African-American families.
I am glad to have the opportunity to share this work.
Many thanks also to curator Laura Kruger and curatorial assistant Phyllis Freedman of Hebrew Union College.
