A Gleyzele Tey / Brivele

I recently photographed two young klezmer ensembles at a gig at the Hill Havurah in Washington, DC; A Gleyzele Tey and Brivele. Powerful, soulful, righteous performances. And fun, too.

A Gleyzele Tey is: Rachel Leader, fiddle, Richie Barshay, percussion, and Ariel Shapiro, accordion, vocals. Brivele is: Maia Brown, banjo, vocals, and Stephanie Brendler, accordion, vocals.
