True Ground | Hoops Camp

True Ground Housing held a "Hoops Camp" for many of its young residents in the gym of Arlington's HB Woodlawn Program. Lots of energetic fun, and lots of learning. The event was organized by Brandon Young, True Ground's resident services manager, and supported by  several energetic coaches and other volunteers. Thanks to Tomas Kurtz, True Ground's external relations manager, for the assignment.

 

MLK essay awards event - APAH

I recently photographed the award winning APAH resident students who were honored for the winning essays they wrote about the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It was an uplifting and meaningful event, held at the Lubber Run Community Center..

APAH | Luau celebration

Some of my favorite pictures from a recent project for APAH (Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing). They held a festive luau-themed celebration for their residents in Arlington's Jennie Dean Park.
