The Edlovitch DCJCC (the Washington DC Jewish Community Center) organized its annual D25 volunteer day to help those in need on Christmas. I documented volunteers at Christ House, Sasha Bruce Youthwork, Central Union Mission, Loaves and Fishes, DC Central Kitchen, Karin House, and at the JCC itself. This is my 27th or 28th year covering this citywide mission of kindness.
Thank you to editor David Holzel of Washington Jewish Week, to the hard-working Sonya Weisburd and Mira Smith of the EDCJCC volunteer/social action program, and especially to my dear partner Ruth Stromberg, who once again ably took down caption material.
