Carlton Arms Hotel, NYC

Ruth and I recently took the train to New York City. We stayed at an old favorite place of mine, the Carlton Arms Hotel.

Every room, and much of the public space, has been designed by an individual artist. It's unique and charming.

No elevator though, and the place is not fancy, but clean and comfy in its quirky way. The staff is really friendly, and for New York, it's pretty affordable. It makes me happy to stay there sometimes.
