I recently had my work included in an exhibition, The Ties That Bind, at the Johns Hopkins University's School for Advanced International Studies in Washington DC, curated by Shamila Chaudhary.
I am grateful to have my work included in such a fine, meaningful program in celebration of Back History Month. A selection of my work documenting the Singing and Praying Bands on the Eastern Shore is on display.
I met several of the other artists in the show, including Sheila Crider, whose portrait I made in front of her work.
