J6 demonstration at the US Capitol.

A couple of hundred rightwing demonstrators gathered near the US Capitol to protest the treatment and detention of the many people who were arrested during and after the January 6, 2021 assault on the US Capitol by a pro-Trump insurgency.

There were an equal or greater number of journalists and counter-protesters there also.

The Capitol was surrounded by fencing and protected by a massive police presence.

Seminal DC punk band Scream is recording a new album at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington VA, with legendary engineer (and wonderful guy) Don Zientara.
