Andy Statman Trio and Andy's Ramble Bluegrass Quartet

Andy Statman, a stellar performer of klezmer music, and one of the pioneers of the klezmer revival, recently performed at the Music Center at Strathmore as part of the Washington Jewish Music Festival. In addition to his masterful renditions from a Jewish repertoire, Mr. Statman is a highly respected and accomplished bluegrass musician. This performance featured both his Trio and his Quartet of bluegrass collaborators.

It was quite the night.

Thanks to Ilya Tovbis, Kaitlin Whitman, and Sonya Weisburd of the DCJCC.
