I recently photographed a series of residents of affordable housing in Washington DC for a project sponsored by Enterprise Community Partners.
I appreciate these good women for giving of their time and heart to share their courageous stories.
Thanks also to David Bowers and Mary Bushel of Enterprise, Rachel Kaufman of Elevation DC, Dee Pasha of ERCPCP, and Marilyn Kresky-Wolf of Open Arms.

Photo from a wedding
Photograph of a musician in the brass band "Wild Anacostias" at a dear friend's recent wedding.
Best dang music at a wedding I've been to.
Funk and blessings to all. Second line strut.

Healing Program - Kayla's Village at Trinity AME Zion Church
I recently spoke and presented my DC street memorials work as part of an anti-violence and healing program sponsored by Kayla's Village, held at Trinity AME Zion Church in Washington DC.
Thanks to Ms. Kadija Ash for inviting me to share my work with the community.
Services were led by Rev. Timothy Freeman and Rev. Alyce Walker Johnson. There was music by the group "Heaven's Song" and a play "Make It Home," written and directed by Jonathan Johnson, with actors Joseph McCarley and others. The program was bound together with reflections by Tonya Logan, founder of Kayla's Village.

Shakemore 2015
Once again, I enjoyed (and photographed) the annual Shakemore extravaganza foisted on a witting community of cheerful energetic folks by David & Jad Fair and crew.
This year's fiesta was on August 8 and 9, 2015, at The Thought Lot in Shippensburg, PA.
The bands I photographed included: Bang Bang LuLu, Flotation Device, Jumbo Jet, The Tinklers, The Degenerettes, Weird Paul Rock Band (Weird Paul Petroskey), Danielson Family (Danielson), and
Half Japanese.
Thanks.
Great seeing everyone.
Y'all rock.
Smart and happy.
