The Other - exhibition at the Universities of Shady Grove

Thanks to Nickolas Falk, Irene Munster, and Elysa Fisher of the Universities at Shady Grove for organizing an exhibition of my work "The Other" on the theme of diversity in the university's Priddy Library. 

I also held two workshops for students and staff.

Brian Wilson

I spent most of today photographing Brian Wilson, the musician formerly associated with the Beach Boys. He was appearing in the Washington DC area to lend his support for Change Direction and Give An Hour, programs that promote mental health services and education.

Thanks to Kristen Lee, Dr. Barbara Van Dahlen, Sally Charney, and all the staff of Give an Hour for the opportunity to serve.

And thank you to Brian Wilson and his kind and brave wife, Melinda.

Brian's music is deeply beautiful.

So is he.
