Judy Collins

I photographed singer and author Judy Collins last night.

She performed acapella and shared her life struggles and recovery to a gathering for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

She's really quite a person; a gifted, deeply open and honest artist.

Her voice, in every sense, remains clear and strong.

Seniors Got Talent / TERRIFIC Inc.

I recently photographed auditions for a DC city-wide program, Seniors Got Talent, under the auspices of TERRIFIC Inc., an agency I have long been associated with. They do great work in our community.

These images are of some of the very talented elders who came out to sing, strut, play, and say their stuff, and of Ms. Joan McCarley, the executive director of TERRIFIC.
