Downtown Seder
I was at the City Winery in New York City for their annual Downtown Seder.
I was a guest of performer Frank London, whose trio rang out "Go Down Moses." Other performers depicted here included Lou Reed (of Velvet Underground notoriety), composer Philip Glass, and Neshama Carlebach. There were lots more; a thoughtful, provocative, meaningful - and fun - way to prepare for and begin celebrating our annual ritual of rejoicing at the outgoing from slavery.
