SkillsUSA 2011
Another year, twenty six now, covering the annual huge SkillsUSA conference in Kansas City.
Physically & mentally it's a wonder to behold; and endure.
All-American, and then some.
These images are what stayed with me... A carnival for the eyes.
Many thanks to the hardworking team I labor with at SkillsUSA; Tom Hall, Ann Schreiber, Tom Kercheval, and Craig Moore.

The Klezmatics with Joshua Nelson; King of Kosher Gospel
The Klezmatics performed with Joshua Nelson, the King of Kosher Gospel, at the Washington DCJCC Music festival.
Music that soars and dances through your heart, and bursts headlong for the light...
Thanks to everyone in the Klezmatics, Joshua Nelson, Sir Chad Thorne, and the director of the Washington Jewish Music Festival, Lili Kalish Gersch.

Long Bridge Park / construction progress
I have been documenting the construction progress of Long Bridge Park for Arlington County.
Though inintended, I have found the site to be a ripe source of visually-evocative material.
Thanks to project manager Eric Beach and on-site supervisor Steve Lucas, of the County, for their help.
More on Long Bridge Park.
