Dark Star Park
Photographs made for the Rosslyn (VA) BID, in collaboration with Arlington County Cultural Affairs, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the opening of Dark Star Park. Noted artist Nancy Holt, of New Mexico, created this earth-oriented sculpture environment, the first public art installation in the County.
Sun. Shadow/earth alignment. Many forms of art expression. Community. Celebration.
Excellent combination. This is what peace looks like.
And dig them ruby slippers.

New Orleans - on the street
A brass band and some folks I met on the street working as an artist-in-residence for the JCC Maccabi Artsfest in New Orleans.
My students in the photography program did exceptional work. Great young imagemakers.
