Happy Valley | Snow and family suite

Ruth and I visited family in State College, Pennsylvania (home of Happy Valley). It was a delight being with everyone, especially granddaughter Adele. Unlike home in Virginia, where spring is already in early flower, we experienced a snowfall. (thanks also to Marjorie & Sean for graciously hosting us).

Rock 'N Read- Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing

Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH) held an event "Rock 'N Read" at the First Presbyterian Church for children from its many properties across Arlington on a teachers in-service day. Arlington County Board member Katie Cristol read books with the kids as part of the program.

It was a positive fun-filled and colorful occasion.

Thanks to Elise Panko of APAH for the assignment, to Venus Williams and her colleagues for organizing it, and to the good work of the whole staff.
