Culture and dystopia, Chicago

From a recent trip to Chicago. Thanks to Ed Rehfeld of LiUNA for the visit to Andy' Jazz Club, a justly renowned music venue.

The other edifice?

I was told there are numerous protests regularly occurring there.

Good.

From our recent road trip (American investigations)

Ruth and I spent a few days on the road. I only made two pictures(!!) - of the Whately Diner in Massachusetts, and cormorants perched on a tree at dusk in West Orange, New Jersey.

Thanks to our gracious hosts- Laura and Steve Sachs, the Yiddish Book Center, and Carol Krauss and John Malmberg.
