Train to Coimbra, Portugal - fourth day

Ruth and I took a train from Lisbon to Coimbra, Portugal. Our fourth day.

Coimbra is an ancient university city.

We stayed at a beautiful hotel, a former palace, Quinta das Lagrimas.
On the grounds is the Fountain of Love and the Fountain of Tears (Lagrimas). These sites mark events in the tragic love of Prince Pedro and Inês de Castro.
