Coimbra, Portugal - fifth day

Coimbra is the site of a university founded in 1290. The students still wear traditional black capes. We visited the impressive library and got a tour of a centuries-old science display.

It also has its own form of fado music. We greatly appreciated the concert we attended at the Fado ao Centro.
