Operation Understanding DC's Class 21 - Harlem/learning

I documented Operation Understanding DC's Class 21 on their tour of the historic sections of Harlem, and their attendance at jumma services at Masjid Malcolm Shabazz, the former worship center of Malcolm X. They had a learning session there with Brother Mannan, and afterwards met with Rev. Julia Chaney Moss, Mississippi-born sister of martyred civil rights activist,  James Earl Chaney.

That evening, the student participants attended Kabbalat Shabbat services at Temple Bnai Jeshurun.
