Yale Strom and Hot P'stromi

Yale Strom & Hot Pstromi recently performed as part of the EDCJCC's klezmer brunch series. 

Violinist Yale Strom played a wide range of old and new klezmer repertoire, along with some Ladino pieces.  He was accompanied by his wife Elizabeth Schwartz on vocals and hand percussion, and Parker Speirs on guitar.

Yale is a noted scholar of Jewish music and Yiddish culture, as well as being a long-time practitioner of these arts.

Good stuff. Nice folks, too.
