Eritrean refugee family

I photographed this family, who are recently-arrived refugees from Eritrea.

I made the photographs as a gift to them, part of the outreach and support given to them by my congregation, Fabrangen. We were introduced to the family by and are working under the guidance of ECDC, the Ethiopian Community Development Council, which is a noted and effective refugee resettlement agency.

They are industrious warm people, who we welcome to our diverse community.

Out of respect for the family's privacy, I have not given their names.
