Olney in Drag

I photographed Millie Meringue, Vagenesis, Tiara Missou, and Echinacea Monroe for the program "Olney in Drag" at the Olney Theatre Center.

A fabulous time was had by all.

Thanks to Joshua Ford of the Olney for the assignment.

Karen Collins and the Backroads Band

I recently photographed Karen Collins and the Backroads Band for an upcoming music release. Here are a few quick favorite pictures from the session.

Great day, great musicians, and a terrific 1957 Buick.

Learn more about them on their Facebook page.

I observed this locus of grace while on the grounds of the Olney Theater Center.

J6 demonstration at the US Capitol.

A couple of hundred rightwing demonstrators gathered near the US Capitol to protest the treatment and detention of the many people who were arrested during and after the January 6, 2021 assault on the US Capitol by a pro-Trump insurgency.

There were an equal or greater number of journalists and counter-protesters there also.

The Capitol was surrounded by fencing and protected by a massive police presence.
