Full page spread, with a photograph I made on assignment some years back for Independent School magazine. The art director was Glenn Pierce.

The photograph was made on Polaroid type 665 black-and-white positive/negative film, then printed and selenium-toned.

Photographs from the annual National Skills Leadership Conference of SkillsUSA, held again in Louisville, Kentucky. About 18,000 members attended and competed in their trades.

I have covered this event annually since 1985. Thanks to Tom Hall, Ann Schreiber, Craig Moore, and Tom Kerchival and the rest of the very able crew at SkillsUSA.
