CD cover- Sy Kushner Jewish Music Ensemble

I did the photographs for a new CD of original compositions by the Sy Kushner Jewish Music Ensemble, entitled "Volume Four: Klez, Kush, and Son."

Sy is a master klezmer musician and composer, and the work is well worth a close listen.

The album also features his son Aaron Kushner. plus Marty Confurious, Aaron Alexander, Ken Gross, Ken Malz, and other gifted players.

You can preview and purchase the CD from Nulite Music.

You can view some other photographs I made of of Sy and Aaron here:

American Investigations | DC (present & past)

Photographs made recently of Taylor' Funeral Home on North Capitol Street, and of Ivy City Market, at the corner of Central Place and Capitol Streets NE, Washington DC.

The black and white image is a view of Ivy City Market in 1999.

From the vaults - Space vision, and a friend in the light.

Two images from 1974:
One from an assignment to depict the imagined interior of an alien interstellar spaceship's control panel (!);

The other, is of my great friend, David Hafner, leaping in the light.

May it be ever so.

From the vaults - Hitchhiking to Oz

Wondering about what the future held, and how to get there...
